The Trailer Festival will take place on April 29th, 2010 at the ICM Screening Room in the MGM Tower, Century City, Los Angeles. Only trailers will be screened and the audience will be exclusively entertainment professionals. This is an opportunity to get your work seen by companies like HBO, Universal and producers who have made hits such as '40 Year Old Virgin' and 'Lost'.
Sizzle reels may also be submitted, whether you have just the script or if you have produced your entire film. Projects will be selected on merit alone and we will not ask for this information until after the selection process. There will be a promotional DVD of the selected trailers which will be marketed for a year.
Accepted are the first act of screenplays, pilots for TV shows and spec scripts. The page count is left up to the discretion of the writer. One page treatments are also accepted.
There is no limit on the number of finalists. If your script gets high enough points, the rest of the script will be requested. If it's as good as they thought it was going to be, they will include the title and synopsis in their event program and circulate the script to the appropriate industry executives.
Deadlines and submission fees are as follows:
· Up to January 31, 2010, $30
· Up to February 28, 2010, $35
· Up to March 15, 2010, $45
